Spend a Sunny Sunday in Cork

Spend the Morning in Kinsale

If the sun is shining in Cork, we recommend you hop on the 226 bus from the city centre and head down to Kinsale for the morning.

Call into Wild & Tame Coffee shop to grab yourself a coffee & and a pastry and explore Kinsale.

Travel down as far as the Dock Beach, walk around Charles Fort and call into some of the local shops and galleries.

Go for an afternoon walk

Cork is home to many amazing walks with great views.

Head down to the Blackrock Castle Observatory and walk along the water. Go for a walk around The Lough and don’t forget to call into The Lough Cafe while you’re there. Go to Tramore Valley Park and bring a hurley for a puc around!

Grab something to eat at the Marina Market

The Marina Market is Cork’s largest indoor outdoor market. It has over 30 food vendors and is dog-friendly!

The Marina Market has being growing over the past few years and has become a hub of the Cork community! Call down and choose from their wide variety of options - from authentic Italian pasta in Sicilian Delights to curries from around the world at Stewstore to the Cork-famous Korean-fried chicken in Poulet Vous - they really do have something for everyone!

Finish off your day with a pint in the sun.

The best way to end a sunny day in Cork is to head back into the city centre and go to one of many beer gardens/courtyards for a pint.

We recommend The Courtyard on Sober Lane - Cork’s largest outdoor screen where they often play sporting events. It’s the perfect place to soak in the sun and relax after a busy day.
